Pizza is a popular Italian dish that has become famous all around the world. Here are the steps to prepare a traditional Italian pizza:

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g. pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the bowl and mix everything together until the dough comes together.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Put the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Let it rise for about 1 hour in a warm place.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Roll out the dough into a circular shape with a rolling pin or stretch it with your hands. Place the dough on a greased pizza pan.
  7. Spread the tomato sauce on top of the dough, leaving about 1/2 inch of space around the edge.
  8. Add the mozzarella cheese and your desired toppings on top of the sauce.
  9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Once the pizza is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious Italian pizza!
