Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced onion
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.
- Divide the chicken mixture into 4 portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the skillet is hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through.
- While the chicken is cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in a toaster or on a skillet.
- Spread some mayonnaise and ketchup on the inside of the burger buns.
- Add some lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, and sliced onion on the bottom half of the burger bun.
- Place the cooked chicken patty on top of the vegetables.
- Add some more vegetables on top of the chicken patty.
- Cover the burger with the top half of the bun.
- Serve your delicious chicken burger with your favorite sides, such as french fries or a salad.
