Ingredients:
- 8 oz of fresh egg noodles
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1 tsp of minced garlic
- 1/2 cup of sliced onion
- 1/2 cup of sliced bell peppers (red, green, or both)
- 1/2 cup of sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup of sliced cabbage
- 1/4 cup of sliced scallions (green onions)
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp of hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp of sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
- Optional: sliced chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu
Instructions:
- Cook the fresh egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for a few seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion, bell peppers, carrots, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- If using meat or tofu, add it to the wok and cook until browned.
- Add the cooked noodles to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and ground black pepper. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce.
- Add the sliced scallions and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Note: You can adjust the amount of sauce and seasonings to your taste. Also, feel free to add or substitute vegetables and protein according to your preference.
